Since 2005, Dick Mueller has received 5 awards (first through third place) in the drawing category at the Phippen Western Art Show in Prescott, AZ. Before moving to Arizona in 1996, Dick lived in St. Louis for 25 years. He entered many juried competitions and won numerous awards for his paintings (his medium at the time). He is a member of the Sonoran Arts League, the International Guild of Realism, and the Colored Pencil Society of America. Dick is currently one of rotating Artists in Residence at the Gallery at El Pedregal, Scottsdale, AZ. He has been juried into several American Plains Artists, Mountain Oyster Club, and Bosque Art Classic shows. His Coyote Crossing Studio has been on the Hidden in the Hills Artists Studio Tour & Sale every year since its inception! Dick has also participated in the Arizona Fine Art Expo since 2012. He won the People's Choice Award at the Sonoran Small Works Show in 2016 & 2017. His artwork has been purchased for corporate and private collections worldwide.
